Through Christian nurture, each one of us grows in our knowledge of what it means to be the people of God in our world. We provide education during our Sunday school hour beginning at 10:30 am, for children and youth, preschool to teen; and we offer two adult classes ably taught by our lay people and pastors.
At other times during the week adult study and reflection happens throughout the year through Bible study (Bible Breakfast), speakers’ series (Retirees’ Luncheon), and other gatherings in which we seek to keep present the mystery of God’s presence in our lives as we explore, question and talk together.
There are special classes as needed throughout the year for adults who want to become members, reaffirming their baptismal vows; for parents who want to have their children baptized, and for teenagers who want to re-affirm their baptismal vows for themselves at this time in their lives.
We want to encourage people of all ages to spend time together here at Covenant.
The Board of Education meets monthly on the third Thursday (except June and July) to plan the curriculum for our Sunday School classes and plan other educational activities.
