Lenten Worship Schedule for 2012

The 40-day observance of Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, February 22, with a noon Eucharist at The Lutheran Church of the Covenant.  The liturgy will include the imposition of ashes.  At 7:00 p.m., the Eucharist will be held at The Lutheran Church of the Master, 860 Northfield Rd., in Bedford.

Throughout Lent, both parishes will celebrate soup suppers on alternating Wednesdays beginning at 6:00 p.m.  Each supper will be followed by Evening Prayer beginning at 7:00 p.m.  The theme of this year’s midweek meditations will be “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might,” based on the text from Deuteronomy 6:5.
